Our Services
We offer good quality instruction in first aid to meet all the requirements under the resuscitation council and HSE guidelines. We can qualify course attendees (AGED 14+) in regulated first aid at work and Emergency first aid at work and also non-regulated training in Basic life support, critical bleeds training, student first aid and for the young ones – under 11’s (schools and clubs) – Mini medics.
For Mental health training – we offer recognised qualifications in MH first aid, Supervising MH first aid, MH first aid awareness and again for the younger ones – a basic juniors MH first aid course.
Course Contents
(Accredited qualifications/courses are regulated by Ofqual).
FAW (First aid at work) Level 3 – 3 day course (NB – a requalification within 3 months of expiry of last qualification – requires just 2 days).
Covers the full curriculum as set by the resuscitation council. This would be required to be named as a designated First aider in the workplace. It covers - CPR/AED/BLEEDS/BREAKS/INJURIES/ILLNESS/SAFETY etc etc.
EFAW (Emergency first aid at work) Level 3 – 1 day course.
Often preferred by employers to give staff a basic knowledge of first aid and the practice of such.
Emergency Catastrophic bleeds management - half day course. Thie covers use of tourniquets and how to manage more severe wounds.
